Bumbershoot Seattle Arts Festival 2004

850 pounds of beet-stained water was frozen at City Ice Storage on the docks of the Puget Sound. The ice was surprisingly thick like dark blood, bringing the enormous scale of the ball back to the intimacy of our body.
